Weddings
We happily do weddings at St. Nick’s! Here are some answers to some frequently asked questions. For more information, or to schedule your wedding, contact our administrator at stnicholasnewhamburg@gmail.com.
Who performs the wedding?
Our Rector, The Rev. Leigh Hall
What is the service like?
The wedding service comes from the Book of Common Prayer, our Episcopal book of worship. It is a traditional service, and you have the option of having Eucharist or not. The music can be provided using our excellent organ. The organist can be your choice.
Do I have to be an Episcopalian or church member to get married at St Nick’s?
No, you don’t.
How many people does the space hold?
About 80 – 100 (intimately). You can stop by any day of the week to view the space. The main church doors are unlocked.
Do you perform same sex weddings?
Of course! We definitely marry same-sex couples at St. Nick’s, as permitted by our diocese and New York State law.
